Happy New Year!

Even though it’s the end of January you can still say that right?

Firstly, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you that have supported us in the short few months we have made the change over from the individuals brands to creating the mother-ship that is Mane Project for our brands and future projects!

Two of my favourite images of my favourite styles, Oversized Tee and the Oasis Tie Strap Dress, Models are Clare and Gemma from our favourite agency The Others Agency, shot by our absolute favourite Adam Bryce

I wanted to do a personal entry firstly to say thank you, but also so share a bit more of the vision for what we are doing and what we plan to do for 2018.

It’s been the most amazing journey being able to now easily share the information with you about our manufacturers and our processes. This year, as a team we will ramp this up providing more interviews and profiles of the artisans, machinists, pattern-drafters, and printers that we work with in India. We will grow the international community that is Mane Project, which is to connect you to the maker of your clothes! We hope this will continue to change the way you value your clothing.

Kamal, from our factory in Tirupur - he made your clothes!

We’re also really excited that after having our Pop Up Shop in Auckland, we are bringing it home to Tauranga where we will be part of Our Place! If you haven’t heard about Our Place yet, check it out here. It’s a really exciting development in Tauranga City, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of it! Our place is a new shipping container “mall” that will be opening in the middle of Tauranga City! Stay up to date with the launch date, we will inevitably keep you informed too.

As a team, we feel like this will be a big year for us with growth and we have new projects we are working on too and plan to have some really great initiatives that you can personally be involved in.

On a personal level, I’m having my second baby at the end of April! Not only am I excited about the baby, but I’m so excited that now we have a solid team that can carry the load while I’m at home with bubs when she’s born. The new addition may or may not have sparked inspiration for some other projects for the year…

There’s lots of new things to come this year, and we want to keep you as informed as possible on the things that you care about - we always want to hear your feedback too so if there are things that you want to see this year, email us at info@maneproject.online - we’d love to hear from you.

Lots of love,

Lizzie
