Ways To Enjoy Time At Home

Ways To Enjoy Time At Home

Here's a couple of suggestions to help brighten and bring meaning to your days at home :)
TREAT THE START OF EACH DAY AS IF IT WERE A GIFT
Avoid the news and social media for the first moments after waking up. This time you can fill with anything that might bring you calm (assuming the kids haven't woken you up). You could:
  1.  Dabble in a bit of online yoga. Or, just sit in bed and watch some online yoga and hope the results happen by proxy
  2.  Grab a hot drink and sit outside and let the fresh air wake you up
  3. Write down 3 things in your life that you are thankful for

READ SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE HASHTAGS
Books. Remember those old things? Turns out they can transport you to another time or place which, in these times, can only be a good thing. However, if you're like me and don't have a shelf of books, flick through a magazine and actually read the articles. Or even better, read through some thought provoking journal entries and see if there's anything you'd want to respond to. (You can email or DM, we won't bite)

LEARN SOMETHING NEW
Having a bit of extra time at home means you can give something new a try. How about:

  1. Slap some colour on some paper and be the next Jackson Pollock because at the end of the day, "it looks like a toddler did it" so why can't you?
  2.  Work solidly on your dream project without any interruptions
  3. Become the domestic goddess you know you are but just haven't had the time to really let everybody else know. I've tried making my own pesto and so far, no one's hated it. Success!

If you've given any of these suggestions a try or you have some ideas of how to keep busy, we'd love to hear them! Email us at info@maneproject.online or DM over on instagram @maneproject.online. We'd love to share them! #manemuse
